Jessie Lam was born in Hong Kong. Lam graduated from the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong, majoring in Fashion Design, and holds a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre and Production from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, specializing in Contemporary Design and Technologies (Spatial Design). She works as a set and costume designer for various types of theatre productions.

Lam enjoys arts and exploring different forms of creativity, swimming in a sea of poses.
